Mega Diklat Guru Milenial 3#

The second webinar I joined yesterday was the continuation of the PTK (action research) that started at 1 and finished at 3 p.m. The speaker was Ibu Dwi Ermavianti, a teacher of "Beauty" subject at SMK N 1 Sewon (Sewon 1 State Vocational High School), Bantul. You might say that this subject is unfimiliar to our ears, but it's true. She has written 9 books about conducting action research and if I'm not mistaken, she's one of the wardah inspiring teachers.

In the webinar, in brief, she repeated explaining some steps of action research in general. However, she explained in details some learning models to try to implement in distance learning: SOLE (Self-Organized Learning Environment), flipped learning, project-based learning, discovery and inquiry learning, and blended learning. Each of them hass their own characteristics, strengths and weaknesses. Therefore, they are worth trying in the pandamic. To check out the effectiveness, therefore we need to conduct an action research with these models. She has investigated some of them in her own teaching with action research, then she guarantied that it was scientific to try that out.

The models are worth trying with action research. After attending this meeting, my sleeping desire to conduct a real research is awakened. I hope I will really make it come true.
