Background:

As an international school, we are committed to creating an English atmosphere at school. Hence, all teachers are required to use English in their classrooms.

Not all teachers did English in college, therefore they do not speak English as well as those who are an English major.

They need to speak English, anyway, in their daily teaching practices. 

They may prepare all the expressions they would use before the lessons. 

However, as it is a human-human interaction, we cannot really predict what happens in class. Therefore sometimes incidental occurences where teachers need to respond accordingly. Here sometimes mistakes are made. Teachers respond in the way they usually do, but sometimes contextually inappropriate.

Goal:

To figure out the common mistakes of spoken English made by teachers

To map the common mistakes

To formulate the right English training needed according to common mistakes

To write a handout of English-spoken expressions to eliminate the number of mistakes made by the teachers
